Product Review
I own the previous version of this paddle. It appears they now offore colors, and i doubt there are any other changes. Mine broke within about 2 months of regular use about 4 inches down from the adjustment mechanism due to an apparent fault in the carbon tubing (which they probably dont make)
BICs warranty only covers items purchased from "Authorized Retailers", so I suggest you look up your intended retailer on thier website. I feel that BIC should back their product regardless of where it is purchased.
I bought a fixed carbon paddle to replace it (locally, from another brand), and although I miss the adjustment when others use my SUP, the fixed paddle is far superior in nearly every way. It is always lighter- and doesnt fill with water like the adjustable version after a wipe out, and it flexes nicely through the stroke, and there is no play in any portion of it like with the adjustable.
