Beautiful translucent blue longboard fin! looks great!
Ive only surfed it once, but it seems to perform as good or better than the fin that came with my board!
These fins are a good value for the performance. The clear fin is the most flexible. The black fin is stiffer but still gives good flex performance. A ten inch Dorsal fin, when laid on top of a True Ames California Classic (at $65.00) has the exact same template. The Dorsal base provides good drive while the flex properties provide responsive turning. Of course everything depends on the waves and conditions. I've had these fins out in 1' to double overhead. They are definitely worth the price when matching up various fins to the board and the conditions.
I bought a couple of these for a SUP board. The fins are perfect for a board that doesn't really demand the best-performing fin. Having said that, though, I'd have no problem throwing these on a lon......
