Zinc oxide isn't even the active ingredient on the product label. It contains 5 other sunscreen chemicals as the active ingredients including: butyl methoxybenzoylmethane, homosalate, benzophenone, octocrylene, and ethylhexyl salicylate. Some of these are the very type of potentially dangerous compounds which one is trying to avoid by buying a zinc/metal based sunscreen. This really defeats the purpose and is not visible on the images or info on .
If you are looking for a zinc sunscreen to avoid potentially dangerous alternatives, then don't buy this product.
I bought this because it is a zinc product. I was hoping it wouldn't stain as other spray sunblocks do. However, this stained just the same. We used the entire bottle in 2 outtings on the boat:( Not worth the $$$ for little product
