for the price this rack will get your surfboard to the beach just fine. easy to use and seems to be made well enough. the ends of the straps could see some fraying after a little use that could make it more difficult to negotiate through the small opening of the buckle but hopefully its nothing a lighter couldnt take care of.

These straps made actual little dents in the roof of my car (like tractor marks). at first I thought they were scratches but then realized it actually made little dents like ||||||. I finally bought roof racks and ditched these.

The installation instructions for these racks are very unclear. They are thus to me pretty much worthless, as I cannot figure out how to safely install them and can find no information on the Internet to help out. ......
