I bought this board for my son who is 7 years old. I surf and i am teaching him to body board first. What most people dont understand is that kids need small bodyboards otherwise they just can move the thing around when they are trying to paddle out or turn on waves. So at 33 inches this board is pretty small. In-fact 33 inches seems to be the smallest size where you can get a good quality bodyboard - after that they are just cheap boards.
The leash is cheap on this thing, the foam is just ok and im sure it will work but its sort of cheap. And the slick bottom was not clued so well on the bottom. And this board is not cheap considering all these things - so for that reason i give it 3 stars.
Overall though there are not many 33 inch boards out there so its still a good buy if you need something small
I bought this board for my 8 year old granddaughter. We had used the cheaper boards for her previously......
